The closure material of the engine plugs might fail as a result of high engine oil pressures, which may occur during hard driving. This could result in oil leaks. If enough oil leaks, there will be a red warning message illuminated in the instrument cluster. If the warning message is ignored, the engine could run dry, which can result in stalling and engine damage.

Roof loading may be from roof-top tents etc. The loading in the operator's manual is for the vehicle when stationary. However, a moving vehicle experiences additional pressure on the roof from a load and therefore the maximum safe loading should be less.
