RecallAU

About RecallAU

Why we built this

We're Joe and a mate who got frustrated trying to check whether our cars had any safety recalls. The official government site makes you search by make, model, year and trim, then download PDF files and manually search through each one. If you own more than one vehicle, that's a lot of clicking — and you have to remember to go back and check again every few months.

We figured there had to be a better way. RecallAU lets you paste your VIN and get an instant answer. Register your vehicles and we'll email you if a new recall ever comes up — so you don't have to keep checking.

How it works

  1. Search by VIN for an instant recall check — no guessing your trim level
  2. Or browse and filter by make, model, year, or category
  3. Register (free) and save up to 3 vehicles
  4. We'll email you automatically when a new recall matches your vehicle

Data source

All recall data is sourced from vehiclerecalls.gov.au, the official Australian Government vehicle recall website. We sync new recalls daily so our data stays current.

Disclaimer

RecallAU is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Australian Government. This is an independent third-party service. While we strive to keep our data accurate and up-to-date, always verify recall information with the official source or your vehicle manufacturer.
