Accessibility Statement

Last updated: March 2026

Our commitment

recallau is committed to making Australian recall data accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

What we are doing

  • Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy and landmark regions
  • Keyboard-navigable interface — all interactive elements are reachable and operable without a mouse
  • Sufficient colour contrast ratios that meet WCAG 2.1 AA minimum requirements
  • Descriptive labels on form controls, including search filters and input fields
  • Responsive design that works across screen sizes and zoom levels
  • Clear, plain-language content to support users with cognitive disabilities

Known limitations

While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, some areas may have limitations as we continue to improve. We are actively working to identify and resolve accessibility barriers across the platform.

Feedback and contact

If you encounter any accessibility barriers while using recallau, or have suggestions for how we can improve, please get in touch via our contact form. We take accessibility feedback seriously and will respond as quickly as possible.
