REC-003129
active0 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 906
Certain vehicles which visited an authorised Mercedes-Benz workshop between 15-17 April 2008 and 5-10 June 2008 may have received a partially incorrect software update affecting some electronic control units. Unfortunately in these individual cases the software downloaded from the manufacturer by the workshop was inconsistent with the vehicle build specification. Under the most unfavourable circumstances this could affect the engine cut-off in the event of a collision, the on-board diagnosis function, or the fuel sensor and speedometer signal.

Buses operating in certain climatic conditions may experience dust entering the rear emergency door. Dust may accumulate around the emergency doors upper latch and lock mechanism. This could result in the emergency door of affected vehicles being difficult to open. To rectify this condition, the emergency door latch mechanism must be upgraded. Please note: ALL affected buses must be corrected, regardless of their operating conditions. Also, please be aware that Rosa buses manufactured from 16.12.05 onwards have already had their emergency door upper latches deleted during factory production.

REC-003120
active0 MITSUBISHI Rosa
On affected buses, a resistor in the ECUs fitted to the passenger entrance door (wing-type only), may not have sufficient protection against electric current surges. If a current surge should occur in the entrance door circuit, the resistors in the ECUs of affected buses may fail, resulting in their doors becoming inoperative in automatic mode.

REC-005203
active2006 Ford 2.4L Diesel RWD Transit
Due to the Power Assisted Steering (PAS) system high operating pressure, in combination with resonance of the high pressure pipe connection to the PAS pump, there is a risk the pipe retaining snap ring within the nut connection on the pump could wear. Excessive wear of the snap ring/pipe will allow the pipe to detach from the pump, resulting in loss of power steering assistance and PAS fluid leaking int the engine compartment, with risk of the PAS fluid contacting the exhaust manifold and catching fire. A retaining collar has been developed to ensure the pipe cannot detach from the pump nut.
