On certain Land Cruiser 100 and Lexus LX470 vehicles, there is a possibility that the dash board wire harness may be abnormally twisted changing its intended routing in the vehicle allowing contact with the unprotected edge of the pedal support bracket. If the vehicle is continuously driven on corrugated roads in this condition, the wire harness will rub against the pedal support bracket damaging the wire insulation cover resulting in a short circuit and blown fuse.
