During the initial charging of the CNG fuel tank, by lowering the temperature of the gas, cracks developed in the soluble alloy of the safety valve. Subsequent charging of the fuel tank in the field resulted in the cracks becoming penetrating cracks. If a vehicle is used under such conditions it is possible that gas can leak from the safety valve.

This fuel line can potentially rub on the plastic conduit of the main cab power harness causing it to blow the main power fuse and potentially stopping the engine. To rectify this concern, the nominated fuel line will be relocated away from this area. 273 vehicles could possibly be affected by this concern.
