Defect

It is possible that cracks may occur in the front fuel tank support rails.

Hazard

In extreme circumstances the support rail may break allowing the tank to partially dislodge and come in contact with the road.

Remedy

Letters will be sent to affected owners. Owners are advised to contact their authorised Mecedes-Benz dealership to have the reinforcement brackets fitted free of charge.
