Defect

Due to the improper location of the ABS hydraulic unit ground wiring harness on affected trucks, water may infiltrate resulting in corrosion within the wiring connector.

Hazard

The defect may cause an electrical short.

Remedy

Contact your authorised Mecedes-Benz dealership to have the wiring harness replaced with a modified version free of charge.
