2018–2020 Ford Ranger and Everest Certain 2019 - 2020 Model Year Ranger / Everest vehicles with 10R80 Transmission

Due to a software issue, the transmission fluid pump gears could fail while driving. This can result in a loss of motive power.

2017–2019 Ford Ranger and Everest Certain Everest vehicles built between November 27, 2017 through June 29, 2019., Certain Ranger vehicles built between December 19, 2017 through September 20,2019.

Due to a software issue, the transmission fluid pump gears could fail while driving. This may cause a loss of hydraulic fluid pressure in the transmission, resulting in a loss of motive power.

2022 Ford RANGER and EVEREST

Due to a software issue, under certain circumstances if the battery level drops below a critical threshold, the transmission may shift into Park when the vehicle is travelling at speeds below 6 km/h. This may cause a sudden stop without the rear brake lamps illuminating as intended.
