Defect

The mounting bolts that are used for the Rhino Rack Sunseeker awning may not meet manufacturing specifications and could break. If the bolts break this can lead to the awning becoming detached.

Hazard

Should the awning become detached, this could increase the risk of serious injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and/or bystanders.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Ford and can arrange with their Ford Authorised Dealership for inspection and rectification free of charge.
