2025–2026 CHERY JAECOO J7

Due to a manufacturing defect, the wiring harness under the front seats may rub against the front seat cross beam bracket and become damaged. As a result, this could lead to a sudden loss of motive power and/or engine shutdown without warning.

2023–2026 CHERY TIGGO 8 PRO 2.0

Due to a manufacturing defect, the brake pipe may chafe against the engine and become damaged. This could lead to a brake fluid leak resulting in reduced braking performance.

2025 CHERY Jaecoo T35 1.6T DCT AWD, 1.6T DCT FWD

Due to a manufacturing defect, the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) wiring harness may chafe against the engine mounting bracket and become damaged. As a result, this could lead to a sudden loss of motive power and/or engine shutdown without warning.

2024 CHERY Tiggo 4

Due to a software issue, the vehicle may not have the Autonomous Emergency Brake (AEB) sound alarm activated.

2022–2023 CHERY OMODA 5 BX, EX

Due to a manufacturing defect, the bolt securing the brake pipe union may not have been tightened sufficiently. This could cause the brake fluid to leak and result in reduced braking performance.
