Defect

In the event of a side impact, the vehicle may not perform to the manufacturer's required specifications.

Hazard

The side impact capabilities of the vehicle may not adequately protect the occupants in the event of an accident.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by letter. Owners are advised to contact their dealership for removal of both front seats from the vehicle and replacement of the backrest assembly on each seat. Additional items will be installed in the centre console and the side pillars.
