2023–2025 Renault Kangoo III

On certain vehicles, the cover on the rear swing door in the loading bay are missing, resulting in door strikers being exposed to occupants.

2022–2023 Renault Trafic III

Due to a manufacturing issue with the side airbag mounting sensors, forceful closing of the driver or passenger door may cause unintended vibration of the mounting frame. If this occurs, the side airbags may inadvertently deploy.

2014–2023 Renault Master III

Due to a manufacturing defect, the fuel delivery pipe may become damaged due to contact with the engine wiring harness. As a result, fuel may leak in the presence of an external ignition source resulting in a vehicle fire. Note: Vehicle occupants may identify a fuel odour when driving and/or fuel under vehicle.

2022–2023 Renault Koleos

Due to a manufacturing defect, the bonnet outer panel and inner frame may not have been bonded correctly. As a result, the bonnet outer panel could detach due to vibrations whilst driving and/or at high speed.

2018–2019 Renault MASTER III

The fuel hose may come into contact with the engine. This may lead to fuel hose wear and a fuel leak.

2016–2017 Renault MEGANE IV

The owner's manual window operation section contains an error in the wording and may cause the user to wrongly operate the child safety features on the rear door.

2013–2016 Renault CLIO

The linkage between the front windscreen wipers and the motor may not have been secured in accordance with required specifications, which may cause the front windscreen wipers to fail.

2016–2017 Renault CLIO IV

The rear axle bolts may not have been tightened in accordance with the required specifications.

2019–2020 Renault TRAFIC III

The parking brake calipers may not have been manufactured in accordance with required specifications, which could result in the parking brake failing.

2013–2016 Renault CLIO

The upper part of the rear spoiler may detach from the vehicle.

2015 Renault TRAFIC III

The exhaust gas recirculation high pressure pipe may crack.

2012 Renault TRAFIC II

When excessive load is applied to the steering wheel, the steering wheel hub may crack or break. The driver may experience steering wheel vibration and noise.

2018–2019 Renault ALPINE

The oil pressure solenoid programming is not compliant to the required specification, which may result in decreased oil pressure.

2018–2019 Renault ALPINE

The exhaust valve wiring may not be adequately mounted under the vehicle, and may come into contact with the exhaust. The wiring may melt the duct and then melt the wiring, which may short-circuit the exhaust flap wiring.

The front trunk lid lock screws may not be tightened to the required specification.

The oil pressure solenoid valve wiring was not manufactured to the required specifications, which may lead to engine failure.

The stop of the brake pedal collapse system may be missing which in extreme circumstances could diminish braking efficiency and affect safety.

Excessive play on rear LH and RH seatbelt stalk fastener. This does not have any impact on the efficiency of the seatbelt. In exceptional cases however it may eventually cause loosening of the fastener.

Risk of a lack of tightening pressure of the steering wheel mounting nut. This could potentailly affect the control of the vehicle.

Some windscreens may have been fitted to vehicles, where the transparency is below that permitted by ADR. The actual transparency is in the order of 64%.

Some Injection Computers on the affected vehicles may be subject to irregular programming, which may result in unintended engine acceleration and/or temporarily high idling speed.

Some Front Suspension Arms on Renault Clio vehicles may be out of specification. This condition is indicated by the fabrication marking engraved on the front left and right hand suspension arms.

Some vehicles may not have Child Restraint Anchorages (CRAs) fitted, or the CRAs may be incorrectly fitted.

In extreme circumstances the anti-roll bar clamp could break. A noise from the front suspension could be apparent under this condition.
