Defect

The front trunk lid lock screws may not be tightened to the required specification.

Hazard

If the screws loosen, there may be difficulty closing the front trunk lid, noise distractions in the front trunk while driving, and in the worst case the front trunk lid may open while driving which may obscure the driver's view. There is an increased risk of an accident or injury to the vehicle occupants and other road users.

Remedy

Renault will contact affected owners in writing and advise them to present their vehicle to a Renault dealer, to arrange an inspection and tightening of the front trunk lid lock screw to the required specification. To find a local dealer, visit https://www.alpinecars.com.au/dealers
