BYD Recalls

2024–2026 BYD Shark 6

Due to a manufacturing defect, the spare wheel tray or lifter may have been incorrectly positioned.  This may cause the support cable to wear and fracture resulting in the spare wheel detaching from the vehicle whilst driving.

2022 BYD ATTO 3 SC2E-2 (XTD), SC2E-4 (STD)

BYD is conducting a Voluntary Safety Recall on all affected vehicles. The rear centre seat child restraint anchorage and front passenger seat as a safety precaution should not be used with a child seat until we have carried out a minor modification. The modifications will be carried out in accordance with Australian Design Rules. Additionally, the front passenger airbag switch may be unintentionally disengaged via a switch in the front passenger side of the vehicle. If the switch is set to the off position the passenger front airbag will not deploy in the event of a collision.
