2023 BENTLEY Bentayga Hybrid

Due to a hardware defect, the high voltage battery may discharge whilst charging the vehicle. If this occurs, it could overheat leading to a vehicle fire.

2015–2023 BENTLEY Bentayga W12

Due to a design defect, the wiring harness within the fuel tank may overheat and melt the fuel inlet flange material. If this occurs fuel may leak, and if exposed to an external ignition source result in a vehicle fire.

2021–2022 BENTLEY Flying Spur

Due to an installation defect, the bracket holding the rear entertainment screens mounted in the rear of the front seats, may be incorrectly installed. In the event of an accident the incorrectly mounted brackets may not restrain the devices as designed.

2019–2020 BENTLEY Continental GTC

Due to a manufacturing issue, the riveting in the airbag deflector bracket may have a sharp edge and could come in contact with the airbag. This could result in a tear in the airbag and reduce its effectiveness.

2018–2019 BENTLEY Continental GT and Continental GT Convertible

Due to a design defect, the water pump can create a vacuum within the electrical area of the pump. This could cause liquid from the coolant system to permeate the housing of the water pump and damage the electrical circuitry which could cause a vehicle fire. Note: In the event that the Engine Management Light illuminates, or smoke is detected, owners should stop the vehicle where it is safe to do so, turn off the ignition, evacuate the vehicle and contact your nearest retailer immediately.

2020–2022 BENTLEY Bentayga 5 Seat

Due to improper assembly during production, the rear seat runners may not be correctly aligned/locked to the seat frame rails. As a result the seats may not lock in place and may move inadvertently.

2021 BENTLEY 21MY Bentayga V8 passive anti-roll bar (1P0)

Due to incorrect software parameters within the Chassis Control Module, there may be a delay in the intervention of the Electronic Stability Control (ESC). This may result a loss of vehicle control.

2018–2021 BENTLEY Continental GT and Continental GT Convertible

Due to a software issue, when the front seat height is lowered the seat may also move rearwards, which could result in trapping a rear occupant’s legs.

2018–2021 BENTLEY Continental GT, Continental GT Convertible and Flying Spur

Due to inconsistent fitment of the fuse box and the electrical harness the A-post lower trim can protrude into the cabin reducing clearance to the accelerator pedal. If the accelerator pedal is fully pressed whilst driving and is unable to return to its resting position, the vehicle will continue to accelerate, even when the driver's foot is removed from the accelerator pedal.

2019–2020 BENTLEY CONTINENTAL GT

The convertible roof can be activated using the key fob at distances greater than six metres.

2018–2019 BENTLEY BENTAYGA

Due to the weakness of a component in the 'quick connector' on the fuel supply line, fuel may leak at very high engine compartment temperatures.

2017–2020 BENTLEY BENTAYGA

The seat belt anchorage on the third row may not withstand the legal load requirements, causing the seat belt to detach from the pillar.

2017 BENTLEY CONTINENTAL SUPERSPORTS

Due to incorrect manufacture, the Power Assisted Steering (PAS) cooler hose may detach from the stub pipe, causing the vehicle to leak hydraulic steering fluid.

2018–2019 BENTLEY CONTINENTAL GT

Due to an improper manufacturing process, the electrical power steering wiring harness may become trapped between the subframe and the subframe closing plate on right hand drive vehicles.

2018–2019 BENTLEY CONTINENTAL GT

The centre console switchpack may suffer a loss of illumination and operation of certain functions in the centre console, due to a software fault.

In specific driving conditions the electric power steering control unit may display an error. This is due to a software fault which could result in a temporary loss of power assistance, requiring the driver to apply additional steering force.

2012–2018 BENTLEY MULSANNE & MULSANNE SPEED

The body mounting panels of the rear seat belt buckle anchorages used an incorrect grade of material. The rear seat belt anchorage performance may not fulfil the load requirements.

Missing data records for bolted joints relating to the seat system and the instrument panel have been identified. In some instances this could indicate the bolted joint has not been correctly tightened.

2007–2008 BENTLEY CONTINENTAL

It is possible that the solar glass panel is insufficiently bonded to the sliding sunroof frame.

0 BENTLEY Continental GT / GTC / Flying Spur

A 12V battery cable has a bolted connection where it passes through the front bulkhead on the right hand side. There is a possibility that this connection may be loose on a small number of vehicles.

On the rear axle of vehicles fitted with carbon ceramic brakes (CSiC), the stainless steel screws fixing the brake rotor to the metal bell may fail due to corrosion if the vehicle has been used in salty environments.

2006–2009 BENTLEY Arnage Series, Azure, Brooklands

On the vehicles affected there is the potential for the retractable ‘B’ mechanism to become corroded. In extreme cases, this may lead to flying ‘B’ mascot not retracting when struck.

2003–2008 BENTLEY Continental Series

On affected vehicles there is the potential for road salt to corrode the outer surface of the fuel filter. In extreme cases, this may lead to the filter housing becoming porous with a corresponding fuel leak. Such a leak has the potential for combustion.

0 BENTLEY Arnage T, R & RL

There is the potential for a wheel bolt to loosen in service. This defect could result in the affected wheel becoming detached from the hub.

2005–2006 BENTLEY Azure, Arnage R, T, RL & Limousine

There is the potential for a wheel bolt to loosen in service. This defect could result in the affected wheel becoming detached from the hub.

2003–2004 BENTLEY Arnage R, RL, T, LWB & Limousine

There is the potential for a foul to occur between a brake pipe and an engine mounted hose clip, which could eventually result in failure of the brake pipe. This failure could result in a loss of brake fluid which may lead to an increased stopping distance under braking. In addition, there is a risk of fire due to brake fluid escaping into the engine compartment.

The fuel pump noise reduction kit has a defect in the fuel pump outlet hose assembly. This could lead to fuel leakage.

The fuel line quick connectors may not be refitted correctly in servicing. Fuel may leak and in the presence of a an ignition source could cause a fire.

Either of the flexible hoses carrying fuel between the engine and the fuel cooler, and the engine and the body can leak.
