The affected trailers are provided with wheel nuts that may not be compatible with the spare tyre. As a result, if these nuts are used on the spare tyre, the clamping force between the nut and spare tyre may not have sufficient torque. This may result in the wheel becoming loose, detaching and/or cause deflation of the tyre resulting in a loss of trailer control whilst driving.
