REC-001554
active2006โ2008 ISUZU FV Series
After investigation it was found that due to poor fitment of the oil seal (Gap between the oil seal and needles in the bearing cap) there were some bearing caps where it is possible that a needle could have dropped out during transportation from the supplier in US to the assembly plant Japan. Also a lack of grease applied between the cross pin and the bearing cap was identified. If a vehicle is operated under such conditions, the cross pins may seize in a short period of time. In the worst case scenario the driveshaft universal joint could fail allowing the driveshaft to become disconnected and disable the vehicle.

REC-000109
active2008 BMW F800GS
Front-wheel quick-release axles that are not in compliance with design specifications might be installed in some motorcycles. Due to irregularities in the manufacturing process, in isolated cases the quick-release axle might be of reduced wall thickness. Under these circumstances there is a possibility of severe loads on the front wheel (off-roading, for example) causing damage to the quick-release axle. Under worst-case conditions the quick release axle could break.

active0 Subaru, Rola Subaru SA 098 Roof Bars, Rola Roof Bars
The Roof Bar is designed to anchor to the vehicle by way of securing metal straps or brackets 'Straps'. In product failure cases significant upward wind forces on the under-surface area of the carried loads have stretched or bent the Straps to the point where they detach from the roof of the vehicle. When this occurs there is potential for the Roof Bars and their load to separate from the vehicle during travel.

REC-003196
active0 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 906
1. In certain vehicles piston damage may occur as a result of a less than ideal combustion process. If the vehicle continues to be driven in this condition engine oil may be ejected into the engine compartment and could come into contact with hot components. 2. It is also possible the threaded insert for the park brake adjuster may not perform as designed due to an out of specification wall thickness. A failure of this component could result in a loss of park brake effectiveness.
