REC-003548
active0 SKODA FABIA, YETI & SUPERB
Due to electrolysis in the gearbox, the sulphur constituents in the synthetic oil can separate. These accumulations settle between the conductor paths of the electronics in the form of conductive particles and can therefore cause an electrical short circuit and the gearbox fuse could blow. Should this happen, the clutch will fully open due to power supply failure, causing the vehicle to roll to a stop if in motion.

REC-003545
active0 Toyota PRIUS
The software used to control the boost converter contained within the hybrid system intelligent power module, during high-load driving such as accelerating from a stop, may cause higher thermal stress on the Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors. These transistors could deform or become damaged, resulting in various warning lights illuminating and in most cases the vehicle will enter failsafe mode. The vehicle can still be driven certain distances but with reduced motive power.

A limited number of Triumph Tiger Explorer and Trophy model motorcycles require replacement of their Engine Control Module (ECM) due to electrical interference from the throttle position sensor. On rare occasions this may cause the engine ECM to enter a shutdown strategy which in turn cause the engine to lose power, resulting in a loss of driving force and momentum.
