This can result in the engine pulley mounting nut not applying enough clamping force to properly hold the pulley in place and create abnormal wear on the splines of the pulley and/or pulley shaft. The worn splines may cause abnormal noise and the vehicle may not accelerate smoothly.

There is a possibility that if work is undertaken on the left brake calliper, the ABS sensor cable may not be refitted correctly. This may cause chafing of the cable and a possible loss of ABS function. 3. In extreme riding situations, such as road safety training events where very harsh and rapid brake applications can be made, there is a possibility that the ABS function will be lost.
