As a result, the ABS unit may not be adequately protected, and the fuse could blow deactivating the ABS system while braking. If this occurs during a hard braking situation, the ABS will not function, and the front and/or rear wheel may lock, potentially leading to a loss of vehicle control. Note: The ABS warning light will appear on the instrument cluster to alert the rider that the ABS function is no longer available.
