REC-003261
active0 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van 906
An engine oil pan retaining bolt which is too short may have been fitted during production. This retaining bolt also serves as a fixing point for the alternator/starter cable duct at the engine block. If the vehicle is involved in a collision and the cable duct is not properly attached, it could be dislodged and create a short circuit involving the unfused cables.

REC-001501
active2006–2009 Volvo XC90 D5
Investigations have found that the power steering hose may come into conflict with the engine cooling fan. Should this condition occur the subsequent chafing on the hose will result in a sudden drainage of power steering oil and a loss of power steering assistance.

REC-003253
active0 JAGUAR XF 3.0L
The fuel transfer tube inside the fuel tank has been incorrectly designed which can lead to the fuel transfer pipe becoming either kinked sufficiently to prevent fuel flow, or inserted too far into the fuel delivery module which could restrict the flow. Under certain driving conditions the vehicle will suffer fuel starvation whilst showing a fuel level (<1/4) still available on the gauge. Power Assisted Steering will be lost once the vehicle drops below the torque converter speed lock-up threshold however the mechanical steering will remain functional with some increase in the steering effort required. Brake vacuum reservoir replenishment will also be lost once the convertor speed lock up threshold is reached, at this point depending upon brake use the vehicle will lose power assistance, however the brakes will remain functional with some increase in pedal effort. A restart will not be possible until the vehicle has been refueled.
