AC Newco Pty Ltd (Advanced Cosmeceuticals), on behalf of Medik8, is recalling all unexpired batches of Medik8 Physical Sunscreen SPF50+ 60mL, 60mL Professional, & 15mL due to the product being unlikely to meet its labelled Sun Protection Factor (SPF) rating.
There is a risk that a lower than labelled SPF rating may increase the risk of sunburn during use and reduce the long-term effectiveness of preventing skin cancer. The TGA published information for consumers on 16 September 2025 on what the SPF number means and general guidance on the safe use of sunscreens. If you have purchased one of the above products, do not use it. Return the product to the place of purchase, or contact medik8spfrecall@acskingroup.com or call 02 7248 5617 and provide photo evidence or proof of purchase to arrange the return of product for a refund. The 15mL tube was also sold as part of the Medik8 Post Treatment Kit. If you have purchased this kit, do not use the Physical Sunscreen SPF50+ tube. Return the sunscreen product to the place of purchase or contact AC Newco Pty Ltd.
