The front seat head restraints may not have been manufactured to specifications. As a result, they may move or detach from the seat in the event of a collision.
If the head restraints move or detach from the seat in the event of a collision, there is an increased risk of serious injury or death to vehicle occupants.
Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted in writing asking them to schedule an appointment with their authorised Volvo dealership to have the repair work carried out, free of charge.
