Defect

Due to a manufacturing issue, cracks may be present in the rear subframe. The cracks may worsen over time and weaken the vehicle's structure.

Hazard

In the event of a rear-end collision, reduced structural strength can increase the risk of serious injury, or death to vehicle occupants.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Jaguar Land Rover to organise an inspection of their vehicle. If cracks are found, repairs will be completed free of charge.
