Defect

Due to a manufacturing issue, a crack is present in the rear subframe. The crack may worsen over time and weaken the vehicle's structure.

Hazard

In the event of a rear-end collision, reduced structural strength can increase the risk of serious injury, or death to vehicle occupants.

Remedy

The owner of the affected vehicle will be contacted by Jaguar Land Rover to organise replacement of the subframe. This will be completed free of charge.
