Due to a software issue, the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) and Head-up Display (HUD) information may fail to illuminate the visual vehicle speed, fuel level and other critical safety information.
Loss of safety system warnings when driving could increase the risk of an accident, causing injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and bystanders.
Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted in writing by Hyundai Motor Company Australia asking them to schedule an appointment with an authorised Hyundai Dealer as soon as possible to have the software update, free of charge. Note: Some owners may be eligible for an over the air (OTA) update to update their vehicle software. Please contact your local Hyundai Dealership for more information.
