Defect

Due to a software issue, the instrument panel cluster may fail to illuminate the Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) warning if the front camera is blocked. Note: A warning message may appear for approximately 10 seconds when the vehicle is turned on or off.

Hazard

A loss of AEB warnings could increase the risk of an accident, causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Peugeot requesting them to schedule an appointment with their local dealership to have the work carried out, free of charge.
