Defect

Due to a manufacturing defect in the Steering Column Control Module (SCCM), Electronic Stability Control (ESC) may fail. This may result in a loss of vehicle control.

Hazard

A loss of vehicle control could increase the risk of an accident, causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles should contact their nearest authorised RAM dealer to have the vehicle inspected and the work carried out, free of charge.
