Defect

Due to a software error, the combination meter may fail to illuminate visual and audible warnings including dashboard indicators, the speedometer, turn signals, hazard lamps, seatbelt reminders and key in ignition.

Hazard

Failure of the combination meter to display critical safety information or warning indicators may increase the risk of an accident, causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Toyota, requesting they make an appointment at their preferred Toyota dealer who will rectify the vehicle, free of charge.
