Defect

Due to a software issue the Powertrain Control Module may not provide warnings from a faulty Intake Air Temperature sensor to the On-Board Diagnostics system.

Hazard

Vehicles are not compliant to Australian Design Rule 79/00 - Emission Control for Light Vehicles.

Remedy

Ford will be writing to owners requesting they contact an authorised Ford dealer to have the work carried out, free of charge. For further information, contact any authorised Ford Dealer or Ford Customer Relationship Centre on 13 FORD (13 3673).
