Defect

Due to a manufacturing defect, vehicles may experience a gradual decline in windshield wiper performance or a sudden and complete loss of wiper operation. This could lead to poor visibility for the driver.

Hazard

Poor visibility while driving will increase the risk of an accident, causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.

Remedy

Ford will be writing to customers asking them to contact their authorised Ford Dealer or Ford Customer Relationship Centre on 13 FORD (13 3673) to have the work carried out free of charge.
