Defect

Due to a manufacturing defect, the third-row seat-folding mechanism may not operate as intended. The seatback stops and does not automatically reverse if it encounters an obstruction in the seat.

Hazard

Smaller occupants could become trapped under the seatback, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by General Motors Australia and New Zealand Pty Ltd. to have their vehicles rectified, free of charge.
