Defect

Due to a software issue, the rear-view camera may not display the rear-view image whilst reversing as intended.

Hazard

If the rear-view camera does not operate as intended while reversing the vehicle, it could increase the risk of an accident causing serious injury or death to persons located behind the vehicle.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted in writing requesting they make an appointment with their Authorised Ford Dealer to have their vehicle rectified, free of charge.
