Defect

The front axle brake hoses could become defective over time due to high temperature and moisture. This may lead to a brake fluid leak resulting in a reduction in braking performance.

Hazard

A reduction in braking performance could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles are asked to contact their most convenient Mercedes-Benz dealer to have the work carried out, free of charge.
