Defect

Due to a manufacturing defect, certain low ATM trailer front position lamps may display white light to the sides of the trailer. As a result, it may cause confusion as to the orientation of the trailer to other road users.

Hazard

Confusion of the orientation of the trailer to other road users could increase the risk of an accident resulting in serious injury or death. Trailers are not compliant with ADR 13/00 - Installation of Lighting and Light Signalling Devices on other than L-Group Vehicles.

Remedy

Hari Kessner is requesting owners to avoid using the trailer at night or in low-visibility conditions and to contact Hari Kessner Pty Ltd immediately to schedule a free inspection and modification, free of charge.
