Category: Light Vehicle · Supplier: INCHCAPE EUROPEAN AUTOMOTIVE PTY LIMITED
Recall date: 19 March 2025
Due to a software issue, the Door Control Unit (DCU) for the drivers and front passenger doors may not operate as intended. As a result, it could prevent the doors from locking or unlocking, exterior mirrors from folding or adjusting and the windows from auto reversing. In addition, when the vehicle has been parked for an extended period, the vehicle transmission may lock in Park position and unable to move the vehicle forward.
In the event of an emergency, or the vehicle getting locked in Park position, the driver and/or passenger can exit the vehicle using the internal and external door handles. A malfunction of the windows auto reversing function is a potential non-compliance with Australian Design Rule (ADR) 42/05 - General Safety Requirements.
Owners of affected vehicles should contact their preferred authorised Peugeot dealership to schedule an appointment to have the work carried out, free of charge.
