Defect

The fuse power stud located in the battery box may corrode over time. This may cause an electrical short circuit with the mounting bracket and could result in a vehicle fire.

Hazard

A vehicle fire could increase the risk of an accident, causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and bystanders, and/or damage to property.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles can contact their nearest authorised Volvo Group Australia repairing dealer to schedule an appointment to have the work carried out free of charge.
