Defect

In rare cases, stress generated by the back and forth movement of gasoline inside the fuel tank during lateral and longitudinal accelerations, accompanied by vertical vibration could cause detachment of one or more spot welds holding the fuel pump support inside the fuel tank. A slow fuel leak could develop at the detached spot weld.

Please contact an authorized Lamborghini Dealer or Service Point without delay to arrange an appointment. If you detect the fuel odour or fuel on the ground, please contact your Lamborghini dealer to get your vehicle towed. Lamborghini will replace the fuel tank and this operation will take maximum 2 business days. This work will be carried out at no charge to you.
