Defect

Due to a manufacturing issue with the welding of the rear middle backrest frame there may be a reduction in the performance of the attached seat belt.

Hazard

A reduction in the performance of the seat belt in an event of an accident will increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants.

Remedy

Owners can contact their preferred Skoda dealer to arrange to have their vehicle repaired free of charge.
