Defect

Due to a manufacturing issue, the intake air heater relay may experience an electrical short. This may even occur when the ignition is OFF and could result in an engine compartment fire.

Hazard

A vehicle fire could increase the risk of an accident, serious injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users or bystanders.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles should immediately contact an Authorised RAM Dealer to have the work carried out at no cost.
