Defect

Investigations have identified early wear on the the belt tensioner.

Hazard

If the deviation occurs the driver may notice noise and in the worst case scenario, it could lead to loss of drive resulting in immobility of the vehicle and loss of power steering assistance.

Remedy

Contact your Volvo Dealer to replace the belt and the belt tensioner.
