Defect

An incorrect manufacturing process may cause the vehicle's resin fuel tank to leak.

Hazard

A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a vehicle fire. If this was to occur, there is an increased risk of serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.

Remedy

Toyota will contact affected owners, requesting that owners make an appointment at their preferred Toyota dealer for repairs, free of charge.
