Defect

The low pressure fuel pump operation could be compromised due to an open circuit in the wiring harness. Vehicles are being recalled to replace the low pressure fuel pump resistor.

Hazard

In case of failure, consequent loss of engine power and possible engine shut down could occur, posing an accident risk.

Remedy

Maserati will contact all known owners of affected vehicles. Owners should contact their nearest Maserati dealer and arrange for an inspection of their vehicle and for the necessary work to be carried out.
