Defect

The propellant mix of certain right rear (driver's side rear) seat belt tensioner squibs may not meet the specifications.

Hazard

The right rear (driver's side rear) seat belt tensioner may not deploy. This may increase the risk of injury to the rear passenger if the vehicle is involved in an accident.

Remedy

Consumers should contact their nearest Mercedes-Benz Retailer for an inspection and repair of the vehicle at no cost. Further information about the recall can be obtained from any Mercedes-Benz dealership.
