Defect

The propellant mixing ratio of certain passenger seat belt tensioner squibs may not meet the specifications.

Hazard

The front passenger seat belt tensioner may not deploy. This may increase the risk of injury to the passenger if the vehicle is involved in an accident.

Remedy

Consumers should contact their nearest Mercedes-Benz dealer for an inspection and repair of the vehicle. Further information about the recall can be obtained from any Mercedes-Benz dealership.
