Defect

The connection on the brake booster vacuum hose may break, resulting in a lack of power assistance to the braking system. This may require additional pedal force to stop the vehicle.

Hazard

This may result in an increased risk of injury to the vehicle occupants and other road users.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by direct mail. Owners will be requested to contact their nearest Mercedes-Benz dealership to arrange an inspection and repair of the vehicle.
