Defect

The left window airbag may not have been manufactured to specifications. In the event of an accident where the left window airbag is activated it may not deploy.

Hazard

This may result in an increased risk of injury to the vehicle occupants.

Remedy

Letters will be sent to owners of affected vehicles. Owners can contact their nearest Mercedes-Benz dealership to arrange and inspection and repair at no cost.
