Defect

Variations in the mixture ratio of the propellant may prevent the belt tensioner from deploying in the event of an accident.

Hazard

If the belt tensioners are not deployed correctly in an accident, the risk of injury increases.

Remedy

Skoda Australia will contact owners of affected vehicles in writing with information about how to arrange an inspection and repair. Customers who would like further information can contact the Skoda Customer Call Centre on 1800 504 076.
