Defect

Incorrectly sized nuts may have been fitted to the tie rods on the rear axle. If these nuts come loose it may alter the steering characteristics of the vehicle.

Hazard

Changed steering characteristics may cause an accident hazard to the vehicle occupants and other road users.

Remedy

Letters will be sent to owners of affected vehicles.
